Employment Opportunities with the Hampton Roads Transportation Accountability Commission

The Hampton Roads Transportation Accountability Commission (HRTAC) is seeking a candidate for the position of Bond/Fund Accountant to assist the Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer in the day-to-day financial activities of the Commission. This position is responsible for analyzing and assisting in the financial planning and execution of the Commission’s short- and long-term debt strategy in order to maintain the financial integrity and credit rating of HRTAC.  The Bond/Fund Accountant is responsible for reviewing and analyzing debt programs, planning and coordinating all financing, administering related activities and advising professional staff on debt issues and revenue collections.  The successful candidate must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to assist staff with additional duties that may be assigned.
